Electrical safety for electric vehicles
There is currently a trend towards energy-saving vehicles with electric or hybrid power. The number of initial approvals is massively on the rise, but the new technology also conceals new risks in the event of an accident or an electric/electronic malfunction. Bender ground-fault monitoring devices monitor the complete electrical drive system of electric and hybrid vehicles in the car, offering effective protection against electric shock. These devices, also known as Isolation Monitoring Interrupters, reduce the risk of fire.

Electrical safety for vehicles, buses and forklift trucks
Electric and hybrid power is increasingly being used in utility vehicles (vehicles, buses, forklift trucks) because it is more economical and efficient than conventional gasoline or diesel engines. Bender’s electric vehicle isolation monitor interrupter (IMI) guards the complete electrical drive system of electric and hybrid vehicles in the utility vehicle, offering effective protection against electric shock while minimizing the fire risk. These IMI for EVs are required by SAE and significantly reduce risks and electrical hazards from high powered batteries.
Safety for special vehicles
Special vehicles (military, construction vehicles, cranes, etc.) require special solutions for the monitoring of electrical safety. If necessary, Bender can develop solutions adapted to the specific application. Insulation faults in EV are usually solved by means of an Isolation Monitoring interrupter or IMI. Ground faults and isolation failures in EV are not uncommon and can lead to the shutdown of the vehicle. Bender technology ensures that the electric vehicle insulation stays within its designed parameters and provides for continuous operation.
